With our Fall season just around the corner, Grand Strand Youth Hockey will be offering three more chances for players interested in trying hockey to come skate with us. Leading up to our fall registration deadline on Sept. 19, 2023, we'll be holding two open practices and a new player open skate this week.
During this time, potential new players can stop by the rink, meet our coaches, try on equipment and participate in our group practice alongside our returning players. Coaches and organizers will be on hand to provide registration info and answer any questions you may have. These events are open to anyone ages 4-17 who is interested in playing hockey.
This Open Skate Session anyone ages 4-17 who is interested in playing hockey. It is specifically designed for new players and kids interested in hockey to come learn what our league is all about. During this session, players will be allowed to try skating, shooting and playing on our rink and will receive individualized instruction from our coaches. Parents, coaches and organizers will be on hand to provide registration information and answer any questions you may have about our league and "Learn to Play" program.
